Your information is never public, never searchable, and never sold.
How profiles are handled
Your details and photographs are stored securely and treated as a trust (amānah). Nothing about you is ever made public, listed in a searchable directory, or shown to the wider community. Your profile exists only so your advisor can find the right person for you.
Who can access your information
Only the small Introduced team handling your case can see your profile — never other members. Details are shared with a potential match only after we've assessed compatibility and, where appropriate, with your consent. You decide what is shared and when.
What “manual matching” means
There is no algorithm and no automated system deciding who you see. A real advisor reads your profile, understands your values, and searches our members by hand to find people who genuinely fit. Every introduction is a considered human judgement — never a machine's.

In the registration form
You only ever share details when you choose to. The information you enter — your name, age, location, contact details and what you're looking for — is used solely to help your advisor support your search. We don't sell it, we don't pass it to third parties, and you can ask us to update or delete it at any time.
In the AI chat
Our assistant is there to answer questions about how Introduced works — not to collect your personal data. Please don't share sensitive personal details in the chat; for anything personal, your human advisor takes over. Conversations help us answer you well and aren't used to build a profile of you.
Your consent, always
Nothing moves forward without you. We confirm with you before a profile is shared with a potential match, and you stay in control of what is revealed and when. You can pause, withdraw, or ask us to erase your information whenever you wish.

Our advisors give their time on a voluntary basis. Every founding membership contribution goes directly toward the Imdadiyyah renovation project — a meaningful act of sadaqah that supports our community while you search for your spouse.

Questions you may have
- Who can apply?
- During our soft launch, applications are currently open to British citizens aged 21 and over only. Introduced is for single Muslims who are serious about marriage and seeking a dignified, human-led matchmaking experience. Please do take a moment to check that you meet these requirements before applying, as the £49.99 application fee is non-refundable if you apply without meeting our soft-launch eligibility criteria.
- Who will be introducing you?
- Behind Introduced is a small team of people who already know and understand the Imdadiyyah community. Your primary matchmaking advisers will be Sister Saher and Sister Salmah, both of whom have been closely involved with Imdadiyyah for a number of years. Through their work with Imdadiyyah, they have supported the delivery of programmes, courses and community initiatives, while also carrying much of the behind-the-scenes administration that keeps things running smoothly. They understand the community, the people within it and, importantly, the values that underpin the work we do. With years of experience serving behind the scenes, they bring a combination of care, discretion, organisation and a genuine understanding of the people they are introducing. Introduced is intentionally human-led. Your application isn't simply processed by an algorithm and left to chance. We take the time to understand who you are, what you're looking for and what matters to you — then thoughtfully consider who may be worth introducing. Because sometimes the best introductions come from people who already know the community.
- Will my profile be visible to others?
- No. We do not display public profiles or photos. Your information is held confidentially and shared only when we make a curated introduction, and only with your consent.
- How is this different from apps?
- There is no swiping, no algorithmic matching and no public browsing. A real person reviews your application, understands your preferences and introduces you to carefully selected matches.
- What happens after I apply?
- We review your application, reach out if we need any clarification, and begin looking for suitable matches. We will contact you when we have a thoughtful introduction to propose.
- Is there a refund policy?
- Because matchmaking is a human service, membership fees are non-refundable. If you have questions before joining, please email us and we will be happy to help.
